Korutaideyhdistys ry again brings a Finnish contemporary jewellery exhibition to Kaapelitehdas Valssaamo. The works on sale feature works by a total of 47 jewellery artists from all over Finland. Jewellery art violates the traditional notion of jewellery in terms of use, content and materials. As an independent art form, jewelery belongs to the field of contemporary art. The works are unique songs based on the artistic expression of their author. The starting point can also be the customer's wishes, which are realized by the artist, designer or jeweler. The Jewellery Association's sales of works have brought together works from both starting points, presenting the diverse production of the members of the association.
The rolling mill will feature exhibition artists and representatives of the Jewellery Association to answer questions from those interested.
