Metamorphosis necklace, dragonfly

Over time, a beautiful and rare dragonfly develops from the egg. The dragonfly's wing symbolizes change, lightness, and seeing oneself and life in a new light.

The gemstone (chalcedony) and freshwater pearl, together with surgical steel, create a delightful and airy ensemble. The gemstone has a diameter of approx. 6 mm and the freshwater pearl approx. 8 mm. The wing size is approx. 5 x 1.8 cm.

When worn, the gemstone creates a playful detail at the nape of the neck. The total length of the necklace with the clasp is approx. 53 cm. The necklace can also be made to your desired length. 

The country of origin for the surgical steel components is China. Jewelry designer Saara Ruskola carefully and thoughtfully designs and manufactures the jewelry in her studio in Helsinki.

Surgical steel is a non-allergenic material, and best of all, it does not discolor over time. If necessary, the jewelry can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

It is best to put on jewelry last, only after applying hairspray and perfume. We recommend always storing jewelry in its own box.
