Metamorphosis earrings, dragonfly
Over time, a beautiful and rare dragonfly develops from the egg. The dragonfly's wing symbolizes change, lightness, and seeing oneself and life in a new light.
Together with surgical steel, the gemstone beads (chalcedony) and freshwater pearls create a delightful and airy ensemble.
The gemstone beads are approx. 6 mm in diameter and the freshwater pearls approx. 8 mm. The wing size is approx. 5 x 1.8 cm. The ring diameter is approx. 17 mm externally. The weight of one earring is approx. 3g.
The country of origin for the surgical steel parts is China. Jewelry designer Saara Ruskola carefully designs and manufactures the jewelry in her workshop in Helsinki.
Surgical steel is a hypoallergenic material, and best of all, it does not discolour over time. If necessary, the jewellery can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Jewellery should be put on last, only after applying hairspray and perfume. We recommend always storing jewellery in its own box.
