Swallow-earrings

Swallow-earrings are made of handpainted birch plywood. The surface is lively and the grains of wood show through in a beautiful way. The hooks are made of sterling silver. The size of the one bird is about 4,4x3,4 cm and thickness of the material is 1 mm. Jewellery will be sent in a stylish black box in which it is a pleasant to give someone you care as a present. Please notice that every jewellery is a unique piece. The grains of the wood are slightly different from one and another because of the natural nature of the material. Jewellery designer Saara Ruskola creates all the jewellery with diligence and care by herself in her workshop at Helsinki, Finland. Wood is a beautiful and a delicate natural material. When you are not using the jewellery, it is best for keeping it in its box. Please keep the jewellery untouched by dampness and chemicals. The silver part of the jewellery you may occasionally for instance clean with a silver polish cloth. Jewellery is best worn after you have applied spray and fragrance.
